Port Charlotte is a grid of platted lots, and a lot of them still carry storm damage: snapped slash pine, hurricane-leaned oaks that were cut high and left, and Brazilian pepper cut back so many times it grew into a stump the size of a truck tire.
We post the price so there's nothing to haggle over. $99 is the door for one stump up to 12 inches across. Storm-cut pine stumps in Murdock and Deep Creek are usually 14 to 24 inches and price at $120 to $240 off the menu.
Charlotte County sand grinds fast and backfills clean. The complication here is usually access — vacant adjacent lots, soft shoulders, and septic drainfields we need to know about before we drive a machine across the yard.

Grinding in Port Charlotte specifically
Storm-cut high stumps
Emergency crews often leave three feet of trunk. We cut it flush and then take it four to six inches below grade — that's included, not an extra.
Septic and well lines
Many Port Charlotte lots are on septic. Point out the tank, drainfield and well line and we'll route the machine around them.
Brazilian pepper clusters
Pepper regrows from any stump left behind. Grinding the whole cluster below grade is the only thing that reliably stops it.
Multiple stumps, one visit
Extra stumps in the same yard are from $45 each on the same trip — common on cleared lots with several pines down.
